TealHelix is pleased to announce its new synergy with the project Infoodmation project, a collaboration rooted in shared goals and complementary approaches. Both projects aim to transform how food information is communicated, with a strong focus on healthier, more sustainable, and more inclusive food systems across Europe.

While TealHelix focuses on empowering consumers through personalised and inclusive food labelling, Infoodmation looks at the broader landscape of food communication—from media and marketing to public policy—and how these influence people’s food choices, particularly those from vulnerable groups.

The two projects share several key priorities:

  • Both projects recognise that food choices are shaped by complex personal and social factors. By tailoring messages to different needs and contexts, they aim to make healthy and sustainable choices more accessible to everyone.

  • TealHelix and Infoodmation both harness digital tools—whether through smart labels or media analysis—to create more effective, data-driven ways to support consumers and food system actors.

  • From families with limited means to children and older adults, both projects are committed to making food information fair, inclusive, and empowering for those who need it most.

  • With a shared commitment to research excellence, the two projects will generate insights and practical recommendations that can inform responsible business strategies, EU policies, and future innovations in the food sector.

This synergy will create opportunities to share knowledge and work together towards a common vision: a food system that is transparent, equitable, and responsive to both people and the planet.
