Consumers are increasingly expected to drive the transition towards more sustainable food systems through their everyday choices. But is providing information enough to encourage meaningful behavioural change?

This policy webinar organised by the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health, Fair Trade Advocacy Office and Q-Plan International, featuring participations from the CUES, TealHelix, and Infoodmation projects will explore how consumers are positioned within sustainable food policies at the EU, national, and regional levels, and discuss whether future policymaking should move beyond information-based approaches towards structural measures that make sustainable choices easier, more affordable, and more accessible.
